The iPad has nearly been out for a small time and Apple has really enjoyed devastating success. However journalists are saying that there will be a generous wave of mobile computers released towards the end of this year. Apple had no problems for its iPhone for the first couple of months that it was being sold. But that does not seem to be the case for the iPad. Find out what Apple will do to extend its success in the tablet market when Apple releases the iPad second generation.

The ecosystem is imperative
The reason the iPhone was a hit was not only because of its great display or the simple OS. The ecosystem Apple made around the iPhone had a great part in the iPhone's popularity. Apple gave costumers iTunes for our video; MobileMe took advantage of the cloud; and the app store supplied many useful and working tools. Apple managed to make a healthy ecosystem which gave the users the greatest mobile experience.
Apple needs to mirror that with the iPad but take it even a step further. Cloud is the next huge thing and Apple has the chance to make its important iTunes software go mobile. That would be awesome news for iPad adapters who would like to access their daunting amount of music without having to sync them up on the iPad. Apple also needs to improve on providing more help for the business side of the iPad. Maybe give a low priced app creation program that would encourage managers to buy apps specifically tailored for their desires.
FaceTime is an industry mover
Costumers where able to forgive Apple for excluding a camera on the iPad, but with the great popularity of FaceTime, next generation costumers will want to have that software on their iPad. There has been a lot of mobile video conference software around for years, but Apple has the opportunity to really make FaceTime software that really catches on.
The display
The iPad screen does what it is meant to do. However, for the iPad 2G Apple will have to update the screen. With the stunning Retina Display on the iPhone 4, many iPhone users find it hard to go back to the noticeably less sharp screen of the iPad. Even if Apple does not bring Retina Display to the iPad, they should at least give it more pixels. Another direction Apple could go is giving the iPad those new displays that would allow it to be seen in bright sunlight. That will officially sound the death bell of dedicated eReaders.Storage
Apple has two routes here. If Apple makes their cloud computing a simple cheap process, then they will be ok with the models they have now. However, Apple should still give the iPad a major upgrade in storage because the games on the iPad and business apps take up a lot more resources than the ones on the iPhone. More memory will give creators more room and allow the developing of more ground breaking apps that will be great for gaming and productivity.
Can the iPad 2 be enough for you to finally purchase?
Huge upgrades to the iPad would make it even more of a winner than it already is. If Apple can manage to keep the cost stable or even lower it, then you can anticipate the sales to go through the rough. Will the upgrades I mentioned be enough to convince you to drop $500 on the iPad? If not what do you think it is lacking?
