Canon Sd880 Powershot

Canon SD880 Powershott Digital Elph is just one digital digicam in a variety of "Canon powershot" models. There are several just like the Sd880, which is a slightly older, and one of many here to stay models.

The rationale it's "here to stay" is just that it's one of those digital cameras that gets the job completed and gets it achieved well... In the Canon SD880 Powershot Review you'll notice that it scores very extremely well in all categories. I'm giving it 5 out of 5 in all but one category. check it out to see which on the review itself...

The 10-megapixel PowerShot SD880 IS Digital Elph is the new follow-up to the SD870, and is a superbly up to date model of a camera that everybody just fell in love with..

Easily capable of producing an outstanding quality of shot for a camera of its small measurement, you would be forgiven for reckoning that you instantly developed a magical touch. In your very first shots you may no doubt find Canon SD880 powershot an immediate improvement. I personally was amazed by the slick performance...

(Fact is, I like something that makes me look good!)

There are minor weaknesses, as you will see on the Canon SD880 review sales page, but this is a superb point-and-shoot digicam, which for it's spend involved, outshines the competitors easily.

It's dimensions are good too...

To begin with there's an amazingly large display screen on the Canon SD880 which takes up almost the entire back of the camera! The display itself is good and shiny, and crystal clear. This means that even the on sunniest of days, you can still be able to get a clear view of your shots. Something that many different manufacturers really fall fowl on.

6.3 ounces in weight it's good and light. At 3.7 inches broad by 2.2 inches high by only 0.9 inch deep, it will perfectly fit comfortably in your coat pocket with ease. There are a great deal of smaller cameras out there than the SD880, however I reckon, if it slips right into a coat pocket, it is small enough.

Compared to the previous version, the outdated SD870 IS, the more up to date SD880 IS has the very newest version of Canon's image-processing engine, Digic 4 taking it from eight megapixels to an amazingly clear 10, which means if you need them, you can easiy get big prints without any of the loss of clarity.

It also now presents you a few more "scene" modes. It's 4x f28-58 28-112mm lens is one of the highlights of the camera. You're getting a wide angle lense!

This is a good selling point that Canon have used here.. and so nice to have, particularly on a digital camera that is not a DSLR... A digital camera as small as this one? That's unbeleivably good. You're additionally getting a better zoom than on the SD870, and a dramatically improved video function, as Canon SD880 Powershot is now utilizing the H.264 codec as a substitute to the old Motion JPEG. Motion JPEG was good, but the H.264 codec makes an actual noticeable difference. Sufficient enough to warrant a particular mention in my book.

TheCanon SD880 Powershot is just awesome!
